DJ's Boudain Balls with Spicy Dipping Sauce

Boudain balls are great for any occasion. Party trays, snacks, a side dish or appetizers. They go with a wide variety of foods ranging from fried chicken to seafood. DJ's Boudain and Rice Dressing are universal and versatile in creating magnificent meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Try this with your next meal!

DJ's Boudain Balls

1 (32 oz) Packages of DJ's Rice Dressing or 2 (16 oz) Packages DJ's Original Boudain
1 cup All-Purpose Flour
1 1/2 cups of Panko Breadcrumbs
1 large Eggs
1/4 cup Milk
Vegetable Oil (For deep-frying)


  1. Prepare an even sized ball with DJ's Rice Dressing or Boudain. Repeat until all Rice Dressing or Boudain is used.
  2. Roll each ball in flour, dip into egg wash (eggs + milk), then coat with Panko breadcrumbs. Set aside on a parchment-lined baking sheet and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to overnight.
  3. Preheat vegetable oil in a deep pot (no more than half full) to 350°F.
  4. In batches, gently drop boudain balls into hot oil and cook until golden brown. Remove from oil with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.

Spicy Dipping Sauce
1 cup Miracle Whip
5 tablespoons Spicy Brown Mustard
1 teaspoon TexJoy Garlic Powder
1/4 teaspoon TexJoy Red Pepper (Cayenne)


  1. In a small mixing bowl, stir together mayonnaise, spicy brown mustard, garlic powder, and red pepper.
  2. Serve alongside hot boudain balls.
